School Information

Wodonga West Primary School aims to provide all students with a range of learning experiences which will develop skills, self confidence and independence whilst encouraging a positive attitude towards their schooling. Students are encouraged to develop a range of strategies to enable them to confidently meet the challenges of their rapidly changing world.

Structure & Resources

• We have expansive and diverse grounds that incorporate a main oval, grassed and asphalt playing areas, as well as sun protected environments.
• Our school consists of 24 classrooms, specialist areas and a gymnasium for indoor sporting events.
• Wodonga West P.S. conducts a range of Out of School Hours services including before school, after school and vacation care in our fully equipped Childcare Centre.
• The school has a well-resourced Science and Technology Centre.
• All students have access to a networked computer system, including internet and access to Interactive whiteboards.
• A structured excursions and camps program is offered.

Disabilities & Impairments
At Wodonga Wwest Primary School we offer inclusive programs for students with special needs. Program support groups meet each term to set goals for these students and teachers, support staff and parents work closely together to ensure students are supported and able to achieve educational goals. We welcome any enquiries from families who may have a student requiring special support at school.  Our school features ramps, disabled toilets and car parking facilities.
